What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ years previous Mitigation Technician experience in the Disaster Restoration industry; Residential & Commercial

  • 2+ years hands on while also leading crews on water, demolition, remediation, cleanup & dry out

  • Multi-skilled in Water Damage, Fire Damage, Contents Cleaning, Mold Remediation, Board Ups, etc.

  • IICRC Certification in at least WRT; ASD, AMRT, CDS & FSRT highly preferred

  • Experience with Dash, MICA & Moisture Mapper; Xactimate a plus

  • Ability to handle emergency calls on a 24-hour basis when on call

  • A leader that is self-motivated, responsible, positive, accountable and wears a smile

What You’ll Do:
The Restoration Mitigation Crew Chief is responsible for responding to water, fire, and contents damaged calls both residential and commercial. This person is sometimes the first person that enters the structure after the disaster/damage, and they need to be able to make the customer comfortable that their structure is going to be handled with the best care.  They need experience in running jobs as well as leading other technicians on mitigation jobs, scoping the losses using moisture detection equipment and perform multiple types of Mitigation/Remediation/Restoration. Must be organized, have a positive attitude and professionally communicate with technicians as well as the clients.

  • Inspect properties for water, fire and contents damage and develop/execute a plan which can include the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature, relative humidity, and specific humidity.

  • Work hands-on as well as lead other technicians

  • Extract water from flooded structures

  • Remove damaged materials such as flooring, drywall, cabinets, and furniture

  • Manage and communicate client concerns, problems, or complaints on assigned projects

  • Plan, execute and close out multiple projects in short periods of time to the satisfaction of the client

  • Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required

  • Clean and maintain all tools, equipment, supplies and assigned vehicle

  • Collect any money owed at the time of service if necessary

  • Ensure customer is satisfied and happy with the work performed

  • Maintain a high degree of integrity and loyalty toward the company and brand

Qualified candidates may have past experience in: Lead Water Technician, Disaster Relief, Disaster Restoration, Mitigation, Remediation, Water Damage, Construction PM, Emergency Loss, Insurance Loss
